Skype community management

I managed Skype’s community communications from 2005 to 2007. This included general oversight of community communication channels such as the blogs and forums, including both technical platform deployment as well as content sourcing and production, establishing regular reporting channels from the community to the company, working with other departments (marketing/PR, site operations, design) for ensuring smooth operations and providing support and guidance throughout the company to leverage the community channels across products and geographies.
As part of this responsibility, I launched the original share.skype.com community blog/site in May 2005, and carried out several other site launch and migration projects, including major changes of blog and forum platforms. In these projects, I executed both technical components (data cleansing and migration, technical site deployment) as well as communications (scheduling, planning, user and corporate communications).
